It was inaugurated on May 27, 1967 in the presence of its two godmothers, Mireille Darc and Brigitte Bardot, and was named after a Lebanese village located north of Beirut.
It will be transformed and expanded throughout its history to obtain a 5th star in 2009 and the distinction of Palace in 2012.
